GLASSNAKE
Sleeving
is produced from woven glass fibre filaments, then coated
in varnish, polyurethane, acrylic or silicone rubber, to
suit various applications. In these various forms, GLASSNAKE
can be used in temperatures between 155 to 180C (Class F
and H) 1kV to 7.5kV in the case of some of the silicone
rubber coated GLASSNAKE.
Due
to its lower coefficient of friction, GLASSNAKE is easier
to slide over cables than rubber based sleeves.
Most
GLASSNAKE sleeves are available in various colours, and
can be cut into lengths, or on reels.
