BAKEWELL RAMRODS

The silicone rubber BAKEWELL RAMROD was developed to offer a quick way to mask a blind M6 hole and an 11mm area around it, during electro-static powder coating. The BAKEWELL RAMROD can be installed and removed in seconds, leaving a bare metal area for electrical contact. As an added bonus, the BAKEWELL RAMROD can be inverted and used to mask M3.5 and M4 studs, leaving an 11mm diameter area again for electrical earthing purposes.

Both ends of the BAKEWELL RAMROD feature a sealing lip which is depressed during use to give the optimum seal. This is particulary useful when masking weld studs, whose weld flange can still be contained within the depth of the lip seal.

Like all BAKEWELL products, RAMRODS will resist temperatures of up to 315° C and can be reused time and time again. BAKEWELL RAMRODS are supplied with an insertion tool.
