THROUGH HOLE PROJECTION WELD BOLTS

Weld Bolts offer a precise, strong, captive male fastening, that does not need any jigging as the shank is passed through a pre-punched hole in the component, prior to welding. They are welded in place with a projection welding machine, that will give three strong weld points where the weld projections join the component.

Weld Bolts are used extensively in high volume manufacture of motor vehicles, domestic appliances and pressed components.

Normally supplied in their natural state, they are also available in a copper flashed finish and, if of sufficient volume in stainless steel.

Standard sizes are M3 to M12 and 6-32UNC to 1/2UNC in various lengths.
